DESCRIPTION
Flywheel housing is a metal casing that encloses the flywheel and the clutch assembly of an engine. It is bolted to the back of the engine block and provides a mounting surface for the transmission. The flywheel housing also serves as a protective barrier for the internal components of the engine, preventing dirt, debris, and other contaminants from entering the engine.
