DESCRIPTION
The clutch pack assembly is a set of internal components in the engine that is responsible for transmitting power from the engine to the transmission. It consists of a series of friction discs and steel plates that are stacked together and held in place by a pressure plate. When the clutch pedal is depressed, the pressure plate releases the clutch pack, allowing the engine to disengage from the transmission and the vehicle to come to a stop. When the clutch pedal is released, the pressure plate engages the clutch pack, allowing the engine to once again transmit power to the transmission and move the vehicle forward.
