DESCRIPTION
Accelerator Return Spring is a component of the engine's external components that helps to return the accelerator pedal to its original position after it has been depressed. It is a coiled spring that is attached to the accelerator pedal and the throttle linkage. When the accelerator pedal is released, the spring pulls the throttle linkage back to its original position, closing the throttle valve and reducing the engine speed.
