DESCRIPTION
Column Release Lever Knob (part number 1696301C1) is an electric and instrumentation component used in commercial trucks. It is a small knob located on the steering column that is used to release the tilt mechanism of the steering column. When the knob is pulled, it disengages the locking mechanism and allows the steering column to be adjusted up or down to the desired position.
