DESCRIPTION
The Air Brake Chamber (part number: 030013) is a component of the braking system in a truck. It converts compressed air into mechanical force, which is then used to activate the brakes. The air brake chamber consists of two chambers separated by a diaphragm. When air pressure is applied to one side of the diaphragm, it moves and applies force to the pushrod that activates the brake shoes or pads. The amount of braking force is proportional to the amount of air pressure applied, allowing for precise control over stopping power.
