DESCRIPTION
The air brake diaphragm (part number 031023) is a crucial component of the braking system in trucks. It is responsible for converting air pressure into mechanical force, which then activates the brakes. The diaphragm is made of a flexible material that expands and contracts when air pressure is applied and released, respectively. This movement creates a pushrod that travels to the brake chamber and actuates the brakes.
