DESCRIPTION
The Air Governor Valve, also known as a governor, is a component found in the air brake system of trucks. It is responsible for regulating the air pressure that controls the brakes. The governor works by monitoring the pressure in the air tank and sending a signal to the compressor to either stop or start compressing air based on preset limits. This ensures that there is always enough pressure in the brake system to operate effectively without causing damage or excessive wear.
