This iconic vehicle offered three main engine choices: a 292 cubic inch V8 producing 212 horsepower, a 312 cubic inch V8 with a single carburetor, and a more powerful 312 cubic inch V8 with dual Holley 4-barrel carburetors (E-Code), generating up to 285 horsepower. An exclusive supercharged option (F-Code) was also available, exceeding 300 horsepower, with only 212 units produced. Transmission options included a 3-speed manual, a 3-speed manual with overdrive, and the 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic.
