DESCRIPTION
A camshaft is a crucial component of a truck's engine, responsible for opening and closing the valves that allow air and fuel to enter and exhaust to exit the combustion chamber. The 4298627 camshaft is specifically designed for use in certain models of trucks, and features precise lobes that determine how long the valves stay open and closed. As the camshaft rotates, it pushes against lifters which then push against pushrods, ultimately opening and closing the valves. A properly functioning camshaft is essential for optimal engine performance and efficiency.
