DESCRIPTION
The Cylinder Head is a crucial component of an internal combustion engine found in a truck. It is responsible for sealing and compressing the combustion chamber, ensuring proper fuel combustion and exhaust flow. The cylinder head houses the intake and exhaust valves, spark plugs or glow plugs, and fuel injectors. It is mounted on top of the engine block and sealed with a head gasket to prevent oil leaks and coolant from mixing with the engine oil. The cylinder head is made of durable materials such as cast iron or aluminum alloy to withstand high temperatures and pressure generated by the engine's operation. Proper maintenance of the cylinder head includes regular inspection for cracks, warping or damage to ensure optimal performance of the engine.
