DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit 4376375 is a set of components that includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. It is designed for use in Cummins® diesel engines and is responsible for converting the energy generated by the combustion of fuel into mechanical motion. The piston moves up and down inside the engine cylinder, compressing the fuel and air mixture and then allowing it to expand, which drives the engine's crankshaft. The piston rings help to seal the combustion chamber and prevent oil from entering the combustion chamber. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, which in turn connects to the crankshaft. The circlips hold the wrist pin in place.
