DESCRIPTION
An Engine Brake 411E Kit, identified by part number 4955458, is a device that helps slow down a truck or heavy-duty vehicle by reducing engine compression. When activated, it interrupts the normal four-stroke engine cycle by opening the exhaust valves during the compression stroke. This allows some of the compressed air to escape and reduces engine braking power, which in turn decreases the speed of the vehicle. The Engine Brake 411E Kit is typically used on diesel engines and can provide significant benefits for downhill driving or other situations where extra stopping power is needed.
