DESCRIPTION
The Engine Piston Kit 5633446 is a set of components that includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin, and circlips. It is designed for use in Cummins® diesel engines and is responsible for converting the energy generated by the combustion process into mechanical energy that powers the vehicle. The piston moves up and down in the cylinder, compressing the air-fuel mixture and transferring the force to the connecting rod, which in turn rotates the crankshaft. The piston rings provide a seal between the piston and cylinder wall, preventing the escape of gases and oil. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod, allowing for movement and transfer of force. The circlips hold the wrist pin in place.
