DESCRIPTION
The engine piston kit, with part number 4089480, is a set of components that includes the piston, wrist pin, and rings. The piston is a cylindrical component that moves up and down in the engine cylinder, transferring energy from expanding gases to the crankshaft. The wrist pin connects the piston to the connecting rod and allows it to pivot as it moves up and down. Finally, the rings fit around the outside of the piston and help seal it against the cylinder walls while also regulating oil consumption. Together, these components make up an essential part of any truck's internal combustion engine.
