DESCRIPTION
A Cylinder Kit, identified by part number 3803003, is a set of components used to repair or replace the cylinder in an engine. The kit typically includes a cylinder sleeve, piston assembly, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips. The cylinder sleeve is designed to fit into the engine block and provide a smooth surface for the piston to move up and down. The piston assembly consists of the actual piston and connecting rod that transfers power from combustion to the crankshaft. Piston rings are included to create a seal between the piston and cylinder wall while allowing lubricant to pass through. Finally, wrist pins and circlips are included to secure everything together within the engine block. Cylinder kits are often sold as complete sets for convenience in rebuilding engines or replacing worn out cylinders in trucks or other heavy-duty vehicles.
