DESCRIPTION
The Step with Tappet Injector is a component of the fuel system in Cummins® diesel engines. It is responsible for delivering fuel to the engine cylinders at the correct time and in the correct amount. The tappet injector is a hydraulic valve that opens and closes to allow fuel to enter the cylinder. The step with tappet injector is a specific type of injector that has a step on the body to help align it with the engine block during installation.
