DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit (part number 4030162) is an essential component of a turbocharged engine. The actuator is responsible for controlling the amount of exhaust gas flow that enters the turbine, which in turn spins the compressor wheel and increases air intake pressure. This kit includes all necessary components for installation, including an actuator housing, lever arm, and mounting bracket. The actuator itself is electronically controlled by the engine control module (ECM), which adjusts its position to maintain optimal boost pressure levels. Without a functioning actuator, a turbocharger cannot operate at peak efficiency and may even fail altogether.
