DESCRIPTION
A turbocharger actuator kit, also known as a wastegate actuator, is a device that regulates the boost pressure in a turbocharged engine. The kit includes a spring-loaded actuator and an adjustable rod that attaches to the wastegate of the turbocharger. When the engine produces excessive exhaust pressure, the actuator opens the wastegate, allowing some of the exhaust gas to bypass the turbine and reduce its speed. This controls the amount of air entering the engine and prevents over-boosting or damage to other components. The 4030206 model is designed for specific truck models and has been tested for durability and reliability in various operating conditions.
