DESCRIPTION
The Turbocharger Actuator Kit (part number 4031315) is a component used in diesel trucks to regulate the turbocharger boost pressure. It consists of an actuator, a rod and end-piece assembly, and a mounting bracket. The actuator receives signals from the engine control module (ECM) to adjust the position of the vanes in the turbocharger turbine housing, which controls the amount of exhaust gas flowing through it. This, in turn, affects the amount of air entering the engine cylinders and ultimately determines engine power output. The kit is designed for easy installation and reliable operation in harsh conditions. Proper maintenance of this component is essential for optimal performance and fuel efficiency of diesel trucks.
