DESCRIPTION
The Cooling Fan Clutch (part number ME015742) is a component of a truck's cooling system that regulates the speed and operation of the engine's cooling fan. It is responsible for engaging and disengaging the fan as needed to maintain the proper temperature of the engine. The clutch is activated by a temperature-sensitive bimetallic coil that expands or contracts based on the engine's heat. When the coil expands, it engages the clutch, causing the fan to spin faster and cool the engine more effectively.
