DESCRIPTION
A Turbocharger Kit (part number 4089579) is an aftermarket component designed to increase the power and efficiency of a truck engine. The kit typically includes a turbocharger, exhaust manifold, downpipe, air intake system, intercooler, and all necessary mounting hardware. The turbocharger uses exhaust gas to spin a turbine that compresses incoming air before it enters the engine. This results in increased horsepower and torque output from the engine. The intercooler cools compressed air before it enters the engine, increasing its density and improving performance further. Installing a turbocharger kit can be a cost-effective way to boost engine power without having to upgrade to a larger engine or buy a new truck altogether.
